WORKSHOP PURPOSE
The purpose of the Industrial Technologies Program Energy Management Demonstration Technical Workshop is to brief state-regional teams and energy management consultants on implementation strategies, resources, and requirements of the demonstration projects and roles, responsibilities, and expectations of the parties involved.
PARTICIPANTS
The Industrial Technologies Program Energy Management Demonstration Technical Workshop will be a three-day training, in Atlanta, beginning March 16, 2010.
The first day of the training will be beneficial for the energy office, demonstration teams, and consultants and will include a broad overview of the Energy Management Demonstration project (that will eventually lead to ANSI-accredited Superior Energy Performance certification) as well as DOE resources and technical assistance to be provided.
The second and third day of the training are directed more towards the individuals that will be working directly with the plants during the demonstration and implementation.
It is recommended that energy management consultants remain for Day 2 & 3 of the workshop; it is not necessary for state office and other demonstration team members to stay for Days 2 & 3 of the workshop.
